After doing a few studio shoots with some "Mamas", and also updating the blog, I kind of miss my own Mama. So, we'll be packing off to Penang to do Portrait for our own Mama! We're not taking any bookings on 16th May, cos we're celebrating with parents in Penang!

Sofea @ TopCat Studio

Sofea's a talented model and we're glad she dropped by the studio a few days ago for a photo shoot with us. A natural in front of the camera, she made the session so much fun for us. Some of shots posted here, while we get the rest done up for her portfolio. Enjoy.

Baby Sophie's 1st!

We were caught by surprise yesterday morning when Nash gave a call asking if we could capture his baby daughter's birthday celebration in PJ. We asked "when?" and he said, "today!". We just got out of bed having slept only at 3am the night before working at the studio! How could we say no to him - being his baby girl's 1st birthday! So after reschedulling 2 appointments, we had all batteries charged up and quickly headed for A&W PJ (well, actually after banana leaf rice at Rajoo's in Jalan Gasing!).
We first met Nash and Fisya in 2007 (if I remember correctly!) when we did their wedding. It's a great, great feeling seeing our clients, now friends, moving from being single, to marrried, and then becoming parents. (It's also a sign that we're getting older...). It's even more fantastic (and an honour) to be remembered and asked to photograph their happy occasion. Thank you, Nash & Fisya. We had a great time, too.

A Grand Affair

We've been privileged to follow through Amir & Lyana's "love story", right from their engagement in 2008 until last March when Amir's family hosted this Grand Affair at Perdana.
To Mr & Mrs Johan Fouquet (Lyana's parents), Dato' Dr Mahmud Mohd Nor & Prof Dato' Sharifah Hapsah (Amir's parents), and all family members/relatives, we can't thank you enough for having us with you all the way through. We truly enjoyed the entire journey.

1st Wedding at Kellie's Castle - Marlin & Arieff

Who would've thought that the management would allow a huge wedding party to be held at this historic and beautiful place. Only Marlin could pull this off when she managed to convince everyone to agree to her idea!

This classic beauty is another one of Marlin's surprise - both arrived in this 1962 vintage car (proudly driven in by owner Mr Veloo). Mesmerized by the whole idea, crowds of people gathered around the castle throughout the whole day to have their pictures taken!

Everything went on smoothly, Alhamdullilah. Marlin & Arieff - time off for some scenic shots - before the rain came! It poured and poured right after the event! We managed to squeeze in quite a number of shots before that.

Fun Shoot With Fara, Azhar & Baby Zhafir

Last week, this charming couple did some shots with their little bundle of joy, Zhafir! Turned out that this was a surprise family shoot Fara had planned for Azhar and Zhafir. Not knowing where Fara wanted to take them right after dinner, they just followed Fara and before they know it, all 3 were in front of the camera! Cool trick, Fara! Lucky for you, Azhar, it was a pleasant surprise for the whole family!
